Example household: John & Jane Doe.

Four pillars, one plan

Three steps to a plan

  1. Build your profile

Enter your household, budget, accounts and goals. It takes about half an hour, not an afternoon.

  2. See your plan

What comes in, what goes out, and what you can spend, give and pass on. Same inputs, same answer, every time.

  3. Meet your advisor

Review the plan together and decide what to change. Your advisor sees the same numbers you do.

Spend. Give. Pass.

Every plan ends in three numbers: what the household can spend in its lifetime, what it chooses to give now, and what it will pass on. Here is the example household, John & Jane Doe.

Monthly plan

Actual is what the portfolio has to supply each month after guaranteed income. Secure is what it can supply at a conservative rate; Possible is the upper bound.

  • Actual$2,500 / month
  • Secure$5,300 / month
  • Possible$7,100 / month

Spend / Give / Pass

Actual divided by Possible is the share of the investments the plan needs. The rest is free to give or pass on.

  • Spend35% · $670,000
  • Give0% · $0
  • Pass65% · $1,230,000

Investment net worth: $1,900,000

Plan in 30 minutes, not 3–4 hours

Legacy planning tools take an afternoon per plan. Plan X is deterministic: the same inputs always give the same answer, and every number traces back to the budget, accounts and goals you entered. A first plan takes about half an hour.
